01. Problem
A successful clothes customization service operating across multiple European countries decided to revamp their e-commerce platform with us.
As the company sells highly customized items each order is sent for production to a different partner. Some of these partners imposed the communication protocol forcing obsolete integration approaches.
02. Solution
Introduction of flexible integration toolkit allowed us to add and amend integration settings by configuration. Multiple connectors were applied to support message and file exchange protocols and formats like SFTP, FTPS, DBLink over Internet, EDI, CSV, XML, apart from widely adopted REST services. Also custom integrations implemented as connectors to the integration framework.
03. Results
The new solution is now live in production processing and routing thousands of orders every day. Application of a flexible integration framework enabled us to quickly deliver a working platform as well as minimize time-to-market for any new potential future integrations with a variety of connectors available out of the box. This new scalable integration platform became a solid foundation for omnichannel architecture.
